Garbage cans must be stored out of site (e.g. in the garage) other than on garbage pick-up days.
Firearms are prohibited from being discharged in the neighborhood
Dogs must be leashed and owners are required to pick up after their pet. Commercial breeding of pets is not allowed, nor are dangerous animals permitted.
No commercial vehicles, RVs, boats or trailers may be stored on the property unless parked in the garage with the door closed.
Residents are required to trim back trees so that they are not obstructing the sidewalks or other common areas. In the winter, residents are required to remove snow from their sidewalks in a timely fashion.
All construction or remodeling that involves the exterior of a property must be reviewed by the Design Review Committee of the Uplands Board.
Fences: Perimeter fences along property lines are not permitted. All other decorative or ornamental fences require prior written approval of the association board to ensure that they meet specific requirements detailed in the by-laws.
As the Uplands neighborhood strives for a cohesive feel, all residences have the same style and color mailbox. Repairs and replacement are the responsibility of the home owner. Contact us for details on mailbox style model, paint color or other details. All mailboxes are scheduled to be replaced in the summer of 2019 and additional details will be sent to homeowners.
